Microbiology is a broad discipline that can lead to a variety of careers in the medical, pharmacy, veterinary or health care fields. Our Career Center staff will help you explore your options by connecting you with internships, research opportunities and other experiences that will shape your future.

The microbiology major is part of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, which provides a Career Center dedicated to serving CALS students. You'll benefit from personalized career counseling and established industry relationships, complemented by our 100% Engagement Initiative.
